Description
Very beautiful old terracotta pitcher dating from the first half of the 20th century. Curved shape. Beautiful glazed cover (enamel) with brown and blue drippings on mustard yellow background. Recalls the traditional pottery of savoy, but i'm not sure of the origin (perhaps also burgundy franche-comté). For lovers of folk art and antiques, perfect for decorating a country house or adding a rustic but refined touch to a contemporary interior. To be used again as a water pitcher or to be diverted in a vase, pot of utensils for the kitchen, etc. Very good general condition. Some superficial shards of the glaze, especially at the collar and cove. Height: 14.5 cm. Low diameter: 8.5 cm. Opening diameter: 9 cm.
