Vintage zinc coal bucket

Zinc coal bucket. Vintage. We have had it in the family for over 50 years. Certainly produced in belgium. My father was a minor. As a child I used this bucket to load it with coal stored in the cellar and bring it all up to the ground floor, near our only stove in the center of our little mine house. We live in a house a few hundred meters from the slag heaps in the coronmeuse district located north of liège. As you can see, the seal was the victim of a creative intervention by an artist friend, during a memorable evening. Since then, it has kept a “yellow mark” which makes it unique.; -).
