Description
Renowned french ceramist who collaborated with auguste rodin, edmond lachenal (1855-1948) made this vase in glazed stoneware, worked in an innovative and colorful way of spring tones. This vase has an ovoid body and a shouldered straight neck from which fall three hectic and openwork handles. The blue enamel décor nuanced with stylized irises and the shiny arabesques are surrounded by matte green enamel handles enhancing the hues of this art object. With its poetic and floral décor, this unique vase signed lachenal will delight with its fantasy and the softness of its atypical forms. ******** Period: late nineteenth. Perfect condition.
