Antique Gien dish – Normandy Flowers model

Elegant fine earthenware dish signed Gien, dating from the period 1886–1938, identifiable by its characteristic stamp and the letters "UI" inlaid on the reverse. Its floral decoration in deep shades of raspberry pink on an ivory background gives it a deliciously old-fashioned charm. The motif, called Norman Flowers, is distinguished by its graphic balance and chromatic freshness, rare in pieces from this period. Uncommon, this model is difficult to find today. Dimensions: length 24 cm, width 12.5 cm Condition related to its age: patina, cracks, wear of time, a chip on the edge (see last photo).
