Exquisite Louis XVI period mahogany cylinder desk

A very fine waxed mahogany desk, opening with a central cylinder lock, four drawers in the frieze, and two doors at the top surmounted by a molded drawer. This unusual design highlights a sophisticated aesthetic. The legs are fluted and tapered. The central cylinder lock is missing. The desk is in very good condition, and all the drawer slides function perfectly. The oak used is of the highest quality grained oak. Its dimensions are also very generous; this piece of furniture is easily placed in a room. Louis XVI period.
