Set of 5 glasses to orangeade

Lots of 5 orangeade glasses in excellent condition decorated with a nineteenth-century scene in old paris. Pulled by a horse and driven by a leader, a coupe progresses through the haussmann buildings. Honored, the horse is animated in a different color on each glass: red, gray, blue, green and pink. Several elements of the décor animate the scene with yellow. Height: 14 cm. Diameter at opening: 6.5 cm. Carriage, sedan, coupe... In order to facilitate maneuvers in the winding streets of paris, we imagine, from the third quarter of the seventeenth century, to shorten the city cars, hitherto monumental and difficult to drive. The front part of the body is "cut" at the level of the doors, reducing their length by a third: the car now includes only a bottom, containing a seat for two people only. The transformations of paris under the second empire, or haussmann works, constitute an overall modernization of the french capital carried out from 1853 to 1870 by napoleon III and the prefect of the seine, baron haussmann.
