Vintage wooden statuette

Tiki statuette carved in rosewood. It is a traditional art from polynesia. Placed at the entrance of a house, the tiki plays a protective role in traditional culture. Defects: a natural crack on one of the sides, quite common on this type of pieces that date from the twentieth century, as well as a small crack much more discreet at the back on the base. The latter are related to the evolution and natural imperfection of wood.
