Vintage stoneware teapot from Puisaye, 1950s-60s.

Authentic stoneware teapot from Puisaye signed "ARTS CERAM – GRAND FEU", produced by the workshop of Michel Pointu & Denise Pointu-Detraz, France, circa 1950-1960. This teapot features a superb brown glaze with slightly metallic reflections, characteristic of the high-fired ceramics from Puisaye. Its movable wrought iron handle complements its understated Japanese-inspired aesthetic (wabi-sabi). The underside bears the impressed mark "ARTS CERAM – GRAND FEU" as well as the number 1. Dimensions. Height: 10 cm, with lid 12 cm. Base diameter: 8.5 cm. Lid diameter: 10.5 cm. Middle diameter: 13 cm. Weight: 759 g. In very good vintage condition.
