Pair of large antique mercury glass lamp bases

Elegant duo of large mercury glass lamp bases, with a curved silhouette and an ultra-decorative mirror finish. These two pieces capture the light and ambient reflections with an almost baroque charm. The original electrical circuit is still in place; the two switches and sockets are, however, different, testifying to their respective histories. Their state of preservation is remarkable: only rare and very discreet areas of mercury fading are visible upon close examination. Each base works with a standard e27 screw bulb (not included).
