Pierre Antoine Galligné (circa 1725- around 1780), Parisian cabinetmaker given master on October 5, 1767. In his workshop on Rue de Charenton, this craftsman made very classic, even traditionalist furniture, since some of his dressers affect the straight or tomb of the Regency. It uses veneers of rosewood, amaranth, violet wood and occasionally flower marks. Pierre Kjellberg's 18th-century French furniture. His A.Galligne brand appears on a bulging, rosewood dresser that belonged to M. Lavallée, curator of the library and collections of the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. The 18th century cabinetmakers of François de Salverte.
