Set of four straw chairs by georges robert, vintage brutalist work of french manufacture from the 1950s. Chalet style in the style of charles dudouyt or charlotte perriand, very pretty work of the conical legs widening at their base, in solid flamed beech and straw seats. Authentic model with the straw covering the entire seat, the three rounded back bars, and the six spacers on the base. In very good general condition with charm and patina of time. These chairs have a minimal and refined look and will go very well in a "wabi sabi" design style or in a more classic "country house" style around a farmhouse table. All the charm of these chairs lies in the ambivalence of their style, both sophisticated and rustic.
