Impressive brazilian couple of lounge chairs & ottoman on exotic tropical louro freijó solid wood, inox steel and natural rope hand knotted structures and new upholstered in linen canvas cuishons. These amazing set was designed by jean gillon and made by italma wood art in brazil circa 1970. It has been carefully restaured, been honest with it’s original finishes, mantaining the natural tone of the louro freijó wood and also re-upholstering the cuishons with a same but new linen canvas. Jean guillon named this lounge chair “amazonas” as a tribute to the fishermans of the zone and their traditional fishing nets inspired him to design the hand knotted ropes that support the cuishons.
