2570 - in its burgundy-colored case (called burgundy in quebec) with gilded fillets, equipped with a clasp and brass hinges, this louis XV style sugar tongs in solid silver of 51.20 grams in good condition. Tiny cleaning micro-scratches attesting to its age. Octagonal hallmark "head of minerva 1st title" put into service on may 09, 1838 for silver 950/1000th guaranteed. Illegible master's hallmark. Finely chiseled decoration of louis XV style rinceaux and palmettes. Length 149 mm X 29 mm X 33 mm. 148.80 g. Neat and tracked shipment.
