Old gargoulette jug, chevrette, water pitcher in glazed yellow sandstone. Mid-twentieth century. Very nice stoneware gargoulette cooked at 1200 degrees. It dates from the middle of the twentieth century and is in very good condition for its age, with a beautiful patina. It was used for water conservation. It can still be used for water or as a decorative piece. This gargoulette comes from the department of ariège in the pyrenees. In very good general condition with some traces of time. Height: 30 cm - 11.81" Width: 22 cm - 8.66" Belly diameter: 19 cm - 7.48" Weight: 2 kg.
