Vintage fish cutlery set 8 forks + 8 knives + deetjen rocaille louis xv service n°25

This superb set of 18 fish cutlery is made of silver plated metal. This table cutlery comes from the deetjen goldsmith house in france. The set includes a serving cutlery for fish, as well as 8 forks and 8 fish knives of the same model: decorated with rocaille patterns, it is the louis XV model "n°25" created by deetjen. Deetjen is an alsatian goldsmith house recognized since the beginning of the 19th century. The quality of the silver plating is excellent. This cutlery bears the "deetjen" hallmarks. In very good general condition, it shows traces of oxidation and scratches from use. Dimensions: fish fork 17.5 cm and fish knife 20 cm. Serving knife 28 cm and fork 23 cm.
