Impressive floor or table lamp from the space age. Designed by Elio Martinelli in the 1960s. The base is made of aluminium with a cast iron weight at the bottom. It has 3 small sockets and one large central socket. They can be turned on and off separately by the 2 rotary switches at the front of the base. The globe is made of mouth-blown glass.
