Ceramic vase 'moon [m] n°1 - white'

The ceramic vase 'lune [m] n°1 - blanc' is entirely handmade in our workshop by our designer, inhee ma, according to an artisanal process. The engravings of the vase are inspired by traditional korean motifs from the joseon dynasty (1392-1897). They were used in architecture, cultural property or everyday accessories and aimed to express buddhist thought. These motifs emphasized a wonder for nature and a spiritual feeling, while being considered an instrument of happiness and guarantees of good luck. Once the vase is shaped and sanded, each pattern is engraved by hand in dry clay before being dusted. It will then be cooked a first time at 990 ° c and a second time after the interior application of an enamel, up to 1250 ° c to guarantee a more durable and resistant object. Details: High temperature baked stoneware finished with transparent glossy enamel inside. - raw exterior highlighting the natural appearance of the clay texture and geometric engravings inspired by traditional korean patterns. - handmade in our workshop in france.
