Dublé wall lamp, Jo Hammerborg, yellow lacquered metal (1970s)
Designed by Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Mørup, the Dublé is a small Danish wall lamp that changes its mood with a simple gesture. Its slats are reversible: the white side reflects light and provides bright illumination, while the red side absorbs it and only lets through a warm, soft glow. Its name means "double, " and it's easy to see why. With its mustard yellow casing and bright red slats, it’s a concentrated dose of joyful Scandinavian design, perfect above a bedside table, near a desk, or next to a turntable.
