Old earthenware candy box from the Desvres factory. Floral motifs with a vignette on the lid of the crest of the city of Vannes. The stamp bears a gold mural crown forming a crown. The coat of arms is supported by two greyhounds and the coat of arms bears the motto of the city of Vannes “a ma vie”. The wall crown of towers reminds us that Vannes is the prefecture of Morbihan. The supports of the shield, two greyhounds, recall those which were offered to Francis I when he came to Vannes for the treaty of perpetual union. Finally, the motto associated with the coat of arms of Vannes is “a ma vie”, motto of the order of chivalry of the ermine before becoming that of the city of Vannes. In a perfect state. Numbered part inside the lid and under the container. Dimensions 9 cm x 9 cm, height 5 cm. Weight 308 gr.
