Napoleon III period barber mirror in wood imitating bamboo, to be laid or hung

Napoleon III period antique mirror (mid-19th century) to be installed or suspended. The frame is turned wood imitating bamboo and the support of the ice is brass. A bilge system, under the base, allows the mirror to be placed or the base folded to hang it. The original chain is always present. In its "to be laid" configuration, the base can serve as a pocket void. Note. The original ice has many age-related alterations. See the detailed photos. It was probably the origin of a triptych mirror whose lateral ice disappeared. Nevertheless, it remains an exceptional decorative object with a lot of character.
