The schoolgirl

Vintage two-seater school desk from the 1960s. The tubular metal structure (legs and storage compartments) has been preserved and restored. The original top has been replaced with a new panel made of solid pink oak (thickness: 2.5 cm). There are signs of wear on the metal legs, with new foot caps. The wood used for the top is second-hand: sourced from discarded oak doors, salvaged and then dismantled into planks. Handmade by a carpenter based in Brittany.
