We are pleased to offer for sale this absolutely exquisite Waring & Gillow Paris writing desk, featuring the original hand-dyed brown leather top and hand-carved legs in the Thomas Chippendale style. The leather has been restored and hand-dyed, retaining all its period charm with a rich cigar brown finish. The desk is stamped on the drawer Waring & Gillow Paris, which is rare. It has been carefully cleaned, waxed, and hand-polished. It shows some light marks related to age and use, in very good overall condition. Dimensions: height 73.5 cm, width 119 cm, depth 64 cm.
