"Superb terracotta vase by the Sicilian artist Stefania Boemi, dating from the 2010s. The sculptor drew inspiration from ancient Sicilian legends of love and revenge between a Moor and a young woman. A unique piece, entirely handmade in the purest Sicilian tradition. This very large vase depicts the head of a Moorish woman wearing a crown. Beautiful matte gray monochrome finish with natural pigments. A second vase is also available to create a pair. This piece is very fragile, so local pickup is recommended. Excellent condition."
