Description
Suspension from the "k2" series by designer tapio wirkkala (1915-1985) published by oy idman in the 1960s. Black lacquered metal structure and smoked glass diffuser. Small crack to report on one of the diffusers (visible in the photos). Good condition. Tapio wirkkala was a renowned finnish designer, born june 2, 1915 in hanko, finland and died may 19, 1985 in helsinki. He was best known for his work in glass design, ceramics, silverware and furniture. Lp1370.
