This iconic sofa from the 1930s is an exceptional example of Bauhaus design, crafted in Czechoslovakia by the renowned manufacturer Vichr & Co. The frame is made of tubular chrome-plated steel, expertly cleaned and polished to restore its original shine. The structure includes a flexible wire mesh support, designed to hold a single mattress modified to resist sagging in frequently used areas. All upholstery has been newly and professionally crafted from high-quality Italian leather, ensuring comfort and durability. Suitable for both sitting and reclining, the sofa’s design also allows it to be disassembled into parts, making it easier to move into less accessible spaces. The new upholstery is high quality leather, it's very easy to clean and retains its colours very well even in direct sunlight. The chrome parts have been cleaned and professionally restored.
