Enamelled, plate plate Plate Cavalry Schule Krampnitz, enamel sign

Unusual cupped enamel sign with the text. Kaserne krampnitz. Weight about.5kg, size 72x52 cm. Kaserne krampnitz. Founded in 1920 by reichswehr and in 1935 transferred to the wehrmacht established school conducted teaching to prepare ensigns in weapons technology. At the time of the outbreak of war, the school had about 600, 000 officer horses specially trained to be delivered to the wehrmacht in batches. It may be added that count claes von staufenberg received his education at this barracks located outside berlin (brandenburg) in 1929.
