French oak floor lamp with storage reading nook

Original reading nook from the 1950s. Quality French work. Made of solid oak with a lacquered steel lampshade. Everything remains in very good condition. The metal lampshade does have some signs of age, wear, and old discoloration, which can be seen in the photos, giving it an original patina. The electrical system has been renewed and is working perfectly.
