Flower pick with speckled decoration by Alexandre Kostanda

Alexandre Kostanda (1921-2006) is one of the most famous artists of Vallauris. He started with Giraud in Vallauris, during the war he was in Cluny, then a teacher in Mâcon where he would train, moreover, the four young people of Accolay. Then he opened his workshop in Vallauris and was for a long time responsible for the AVEC, (association of potters which organizes exhibitions). This sculptural flower stand has a speckled decoration among the most collected.
