Model of the ship the ouragan ship of 1830 - very finely crafted model of the brig hurricane. Very finely crafted and detailed wooden model with its mature, sails, ropes, boats... Really a great performance. Superb patina, superb realism. Dimensions length 90 cm height 60 cm width 35 cm. Ouragan history: despite the official abolition of slavery by the treaty of vienna of 1815, the slave trade continued until the mid-19th century in the french colonies. Slaves had to design boats capable of escaping surveillance vessels. "the hurricane" was one of those ships which, thanks to the finesse of its line and its hull lined with blinks, knew how to combine speed and maneuverability and became one of the fastest carriers of slaves of the early nineteenth century. Due to its size and fragility, the delivery of this model is planned by transport. Kidnapping on the spot is possible.
