Painting made in watercolor representing the banks of the nile, a theme dear to the artist farid fadel (bio attached). Very beautiful workmanship and state of conservation for this work signed and dated 1994. Presented with marie louise. Dimensions of the view: 32/42 cm. Quick bio of the artist: farid fadel was born on october 7, 1958 in assiut into a family that appreciated science and the arts. Fadel was lucky to inherit the three talents that made his family famous. He is not only an award-winning artist, but also an esteemed and dedicated ophthalmologist and musician; a true renaissance man. A graduate of medical school with a specialization in ophthalmology, he also studied violin for ten years at the cairo conservatory. His particular style of naturalism condenses the emotional charge for an effect immediately felt by the audience. He has written four books, the last of which recounts his journey into the world of leonardo da vinci. He has received several awards in egypt, the united states and the vatican. His works of art are exhibited in museums, embassies and with collectors around the world. Over the past five decades, he has held more than 60 solo exhibitions of his paintings and drawings in egypt, the united states, germany, austria, slovakia, the united kingdom, malawi and dubai. He has also participated in numerous group exhibitions in egypt and abroad.
