Vintage Css modular bookcase by George Nelson for Herman Miller

Bookcase in white laminate and aluminum from the 70s by designer George Nelson, published by Herman Miller and distributed by Mobilier International. (Original invoice from July 1970) Fully modular. Set of 6 columns. The 7 aluminum uprights are to be fixed to the ceiling Made up of several modules and shelves to be inserted into the uprights without tools using aluminum brackets: The height of the modules and shelves can be adjusted using adjustable fixings which slide on the uprights (tool : Allen wrench). This piece of furniture is suitable for a ceiling height between 258 CM and 275 CM. (Last photos added) On the invoice we see that the bookcase was installed with a ceiling height of 270 CM, but the reference for the amount is 9102, i.e. from 250CM to 275CM without wall return. Module 2: 2 shelves D: 33 cm; L: 81 cm 1 vertical storage flap box (vinyls) D: 47 cm; L: 81 cm. Module 3: 1 shelf D: 33 cm; L: 81 cm 1 display case with ramp. light D: 33 cm; L: 81 cm; H: 40 cm 1 vertical storage flap box (vinyls) D: 47 cm; L: 81 cm. Module 4: 1 shelf D: 33 cm; L: 81 cm 1 drop-leaf bar unit with 2 opaline shelves D: 33 cm; L: 81cm; H: 56 cm 1 shelf D: 47 cm; L: 81 cm. Module 5: 1 display box with light strip D: 33 cm; L: 81 cm; H: 56 cm 1 shelf D: 33 cm; L: 81 cm 1 side door box D: 47 cm; L: 81 cm. Module 6: 4 shelves D: 33 cm; L: 81 cm 1 shelf D: 47 cm; L: 81 cm. The 3 spots are original (design Alain Richard) and were purchased with the library from Mobilier international. This library has never moved since 1970 then was dismantled in 2018 for a move and has since been stored in a furniture storage unit. In good general condition, there is a small chip on one of the boxes.
