Åke holm, bible motif, 1970s. Linocut. Number 164/200. The work is signed by the artist and individually numbered (pencil) Work dimensions 27/34. Framed work. Åke holm (1900-1980) was an artist and ceramicist living in hoganas, sweden. In his works, he often used biblical motifs, but with a distinct modernist style. In the years 1966-1980 he produced a series of limited editions of these linocuts. To date, about 275 different images are known. The museum in hoganas has a large collection of his works donated by the artist. Work in original vintage condition. Minor stains on passe partout. The frame has traces of use and age.
