Pair of vintage mugs in Troyes pottery, Bulgarian craftsmanship from the 60s-70s.

Very nice pair of large glazed terracotta mugs, from the traditional Bulgarian craftsmanship of Troyan, both stamped underneath. Vintage from the 1960s-1970s. Hand-painted decoration in green, cream, and yellow tones, featuring stylised geometric friezes characteristic of Troyan pottery. Slightly flared straight shape, with large rounded handles. Good capacity, perfect as mugs, beer or cider mugs. 11.5cm high, 13cm maximum width with handle, 10cm maximum diameter. Very good overall condition, one mug has a small chip in the glaze on the rim, which may correspond to a small old knock or a manufacturing defect. Approximately 500g each.
