Baroque buffet from the 18th century Lombardy

Eighteenth-century Lombard baroque buffet, made from an old chest of drawers or desk, embodying the charm of the era. Made of walnut and walnut burl, it features a curved front with a pair of solid walnut doors, enhanced with ebonised mouldings and burl veneer inlays, elements also present on the sides. The front posts are at a forty-five-degree angle, while those at the back feature ebonised scroll carvings. The bronze knobs add a precious detail. Inside, a pair of drawers added later beneath the top, with interiors in fir, provides additional storage space.
