Here is a set of 3 turned stoneware cups with a very original shape! They are made of puisaye stoneware with a very pretty enamel combining soft and comforting tones: beige, caramel and chocolate, a material and colors typical of the 70s. A beautiful craft work by the potter jean-pierre prud'homme. They are not signed because jean-pierre prud'homme did not sign all the pieces belonging to a service. These cups accompanied a beautiful signed pitcher (also on sale here in my shop here). Jean-pierre prud'homme founded with his wife a craft pottery workshop in 1971 in monnaie, working with clay from nièvre (puisaye stoneware). This workshop still exists today (au grès du vent workshop), it is run by his son benoit prud'homme who took over in the 1990s-2000s and also creates very beautiful ceramics. These cups date from the 70s and are in perfect condition, no defects to report. They measure 10 cm in diameter at the base, 6.5 cm in diameter at the opening, 12 cm in width including the handle and 9 cm in height. If you wish to purchase these cups as well as the pitcher, do not hesitate to contact me so that I can offer you a group delivery. In addition, other identical cups are offered by other merchants, you will then be able to complete this service. The last two photos show the pitcher from the same service (but not included in this lot), and the signature under the pitcher.
