Coat rack from the 1920s/30s, made of turned wood in a bamboo style, featuring four large and deep mushroom-shaped hooks. These are angled upwards to better hold garments, which is very rare and adds to the charm of this piece, along with the dark trim on the base and the heads. This coat rack is also longer (63.5 cm) than its counterparts with four hooks, which typically measure less than 50 cm; this gives it a beautiful balance of shapes while allowing for spacing between coats. It is in generally good condition, although there are a few small wood losses (see photos) that attest to its history without detracting from its overall aesthetic.
