Midcentury bohemian hollywood regency spanish gilt metal sun mirror, 1960s

Lovely sunburst mirror often attributed to Italy but as we found this in Spain, most likely from there. The gilt metal is in a lovely patinated condition. This is one of the largest oval shaped mirror and stands at 78 cm. The width is 55 cm and the mirror plate is around 60 cm - 36 cm. The back has been painted yellow which we also have with the round version in our collection, a small smudge is visible on the frame as can be seen in the pics. The mirror plate shows its age through some small patination spots.
