"in 1919, andré françois owned a decoration workshop in limoges until 1922, when he acquired the paroutaud brothers' factory, which he operated until 1934. In 1927, he took over the bawo and dotter factory. At that time the company had 200 employees. In 1930 he ceded the latter to robert haviland and le tanneur. In 1919, he acquired the "la seynie" factory in saint-yrieix-la-perche, 40 kilometres south of limoges, and sold it in 1934 to lajanthe-pailler-descottes. During this period andré françois owned several decoration workshops in the porcelain capital.
