Enamelled sheet metal milk jug, BB Frères

Pretty enameled sheet metal milk jug from the bb frères brand (marked underneath), known for its household utensils (household boxes, coffee makers, etc.) at the beginning of the 20th century. There are not many left in circulation because they were used until they were completely unusable, often over several generations. And even fewer in this color. Indeed, this one has an adorable decor with bright yellow stripes on a white background (model 16167). It is in an art deco style with its lines mixing straight and curved lines, and dates from the 1900s-1930s. Obviously, it will no longer be able to be used in contact with food given its condition, but it will make a beautiful decorative element by bringing a touch of pep, a sunny touch to the decoration of a kitchen, a restaurant, a window. It does not hide its age and the marks that testify to many years of use: two losses on the enamel (edge of the lid and edge of the base), corrosion on the axis between pitcher and lid, stained interior, numerous small marks and scratches. It measures 8.5 cm in height, 13 cm in width from the handle to the spout and 8 cm in diameter.
