Box antique box in wood marquetry

This old jewelry box or box is made of dark wood and decorated with a marquetry of light essence. In napoleon III style, this charming box dates from the early 20th century. Made of finely veined dark wood, it has an ornament of nets and a central cartouche in light wood (lemon tree?) A lock closed this beautiful box, but she no longer has her key. In good general condition, I report traces of use (scratches, stains and gaps in the veneer). It measures 19 cm X 8 cm X 13 cm. You can keep a sewing kit, jewelry or card and dice games.
