large jug chevrette Aegitna Vallauris vintage 1950 - 30 cm

Authentic and charming large antique jug (called a chevrette) made of glazed terracotta, signed by the famous Aegitna factory in Vallauris (original stamp under the base, in relief). Period: 1950. Colour: superb two-tone gradient of yellow and mustard/honey and shiny brown, very bright and perfectly in line with current decor trends (chic country, bohemian or vintage spirit). Dimensions: height of 28 cm (large model ideal as a jug or repurposed as a large vase). Condition: Very good overall condition with a magnificent shine to the glaze. Note: the handle has a surface hairline, which does not affect the strength of the grip or the charm of the object.
