Renaissance period sideboard in solid wood, richly molded and carved with arabesques and garlands of foliage. the pilasters are decorated with rings and cords holding garlands of leaves and falling fruit. The lower body rests on a large projecting molded base, supported by galette feet. It opens with two massive leaves with frame surround and knockout. Their interior part is veneered with marquetry. The sides are made up of a single panel for each of the two elements. The interior. Contemporary layout from 1950 with three drawers. Solid oak sideboard comes from France and dates from the late 1800s. It is a beautiful piece with characteristic black forest/harvest carvings.
