Antique african wooden stool

Vintage hand-carved wooden stool, a remarkable piece from Africa. Carved from a single block of solid wood, this low stool was traditionally used both as a headrest and as a seat or footstool. Utilitarian and symbolic. Although solid and heavy in the hand, the stool reveals well-carved curves giving this stool a beautiful appearance. Very good vintage condition.
