Old wooden brick mold

This somewhat unusual object is an old wooden brick mold. Used to make them by hand, it does not come from india but from iran. It bears at the bottom the engraved letters daya, which allowed them to be stamped. It is a beautiful object that can be diverted into a small storage drawer or pocket empty.
