Pair of torches in 19th century gilded bronze

These two 19th-century torches are richly decorated. Decorated with foliage and flowers, they feature beautiful, salient reliefs. The chisels are also of very good quality. Their barrel, also called balustre (vertical and central stem) has a vegetal decoration. For the record, the bulges of the stem also had a functional purpose because they were made to prevent the latter from slipping in the hand...
