Pair of bookends with mexican characters, wearing the traditional sombrero, dozing on the back of cacti. Beautiful mexican ethnic handicraft from the 1950s/60s, entirely hand-carved from natural onyx blanks. Very many shades of colors and tones and beautiful patina of brilliant age. They are in excellent condition, free from any accident, even minor. Height: 13 cm. Length: 10 cm. Width: 7 cm. Weight: 1.3 kg. Rare pieces!
