Beautiful service including a compote dish or salad bowl and 6 small bowls, made of smoked glass with an elegant and original design: a lovely overall shape with a slightly tapered base and an exterior decoration of raised stripes resembling drapery all around. Timeless design that allows this service to be used in all situations: in a retro, vintage chic spirit for everyday use, but also on a beautiful festive table. The design and colour of the glass are typical of the Space Age period; this set dates from the 1970s and could be from the brand Veropa, as they are stamped France underneath. The set is in very good condition, with no cracks or chips, just a few micro-defects in some bowls, which seem to be original flaws from the glass moulding process. The salad bowl measures 30.5 cm in diameter and 9 cm in height, while the small bowls measure 11.5 cm in diameter and 5 cm in height.
