Set of 6 vintage French bistro chairs – Beech, 1950s

This set of six vintage bistro chairs dates from the 1950s and comes from France. Made of beech wood, the chairs feature gently curved backs with three vertical wooden slats, moulded wooden seats, and slender legs connected by stretchers. The seats have a slightly scooped surface with rounded edges, while the backs are angled for optimal comfort. Their simple and practical design is characteristic of traditional French bistro and café furniture from the mid-20th century. The chairs have developed various shades of brown over time, ranging from lighter honey tones to darker finishes, giving the set a natural and informal appearance. Due to their compact proportions, they are suitable around a dining table, in a kitchen, or in a café or restaurant. The chairs are sold as a set of six. The price listed is for the entire set of six chairs. Good vintage condition with signs of use and natural patina. Dimensions Per chair: Width: 40 cm Depth: 48 cm Height: 83 cm Seat height: 46 cm
