Old country pine side table

Very nice side table from the second half of the twentieth century. Very simple, in the pure country and farmer style, it is entirely made of solid pine. It was made to measure by a cabinetmaker, for a beautiful arcachon house. Its pretty tray is set on 4 square feet straight, under which we find a small opening drawer with a pretty metal handle a little stitched. It is in very good condition, it has been nibbled in places, but it is very stable and solid. A treatment was applied to prevent the proliferation of xylophages. Its shade has patinated slightly, but it keeps a beautiful very natural color, in the spirit of mountain furniture. The base has been painted in light grey, which gives a striking contrast with the naturalness of the tray and a pleasant shabby spirit. No restoration has been carried out, in order to preserve its beauty and authenticity, it has just been treated and protected with a colorless wax.
