19th c louis philippe mirror with small heart crest

Antique french 19th century louis philippe style gold gilt mirror with elegant small crest. This beautiful antique french gold gilt mirror has the typical rounded upper corners that make it a louis philippe mirror. The mirror has its original mirror plate and wooden back cladding. The gold leaf gilding shows some slight red bole through the gilding, giving the gold color a warm touch. The mirror frame is structurally healthy and the glass is still in a very good good condition. We can note that the mirror and the back are authentic and original and that the mirror is old. The antique mirror has slight imperfections caused by wear and age, but is in a general very fine state. The looking glass has a couple of very tiny spots, all part of the mirrors authentic look and charm. Condition: wear is consistent with age and use. Overall good condition, with usual wear, scratches, minor losses to gilding. Weathered spots in the glass.
